Teef
East London head Teef has had two CDs out and has shown a steady progression in terms of development. With another on the way he now hosts some radio shows and we managed to get a few words with the man before he blows up. Check out what he had to say here…
The Talented Mr Convenience CD [FYP / SoulGood]
This man is Mr Convenience. He was born in 1987, and grew up in Penzance, Cornwall. He soon followed in the footsteps of his older brother, MC Azreal, and began rapping at the age of fourteen, and progressed to playing at local night spots with the live Band; Carpe Diem. After the band split, along with MC Lexis and DJs Teretz, Pastyfari and Louis Jamaz together they formed the Beatechs.
DJ Pager – The Running Man CD [Bedroomhead]
Welcome to DJ Pager’s world. After a short introduction, Little Vic transports you into his battling universe. Keyboard sounds are combined with swinging beats and crazy scratches. The instrumentals intensify the battling atmosphere. The lyrics remind us of an intense spiritual battle against the demons. Enjoy the contrast between light and dark, good and evil. Little Vic keeps it lyrical during the whole track.

Rarekind Opens New Brighton Store
RareKind, the UK’s leading and best loved Hip Hop organisation has opened their much anticipated new store in the heart of Brighton. A stone’s throw from the previous shop location, the new store on Trafalgar Street is a massive expansion for RareKind following the success of the last four years.
Defari
When interviewing Defari, I was amazed that such a famous rapper could be so casual. His PR, Michelle, warned he wasn't interested in talking about anything personal, about any rumours, or such like (standard prep talk for interviewers I think!). We spoke about his new album, 'Street Music', out in stores now, on ABB Records, and about his experience working with Dr Dre.
Braintax – Run The Yards / Last Tenner 12″ [Low Life]
Braintax has been out of the way for a while now, but he is on the way back with a new LP – Panorama all lined up and ready to roll. He has slipped out the D-90 Rules track which has created a bit of buzz and talk around him and his imminent arrival back in the limelight, although he would probably be one to shun it.
Braintax – D-90 Rules [Audio]
Braintax is making his way back to centre stage. In order to get things rolling along and to get his name back up ther he is giving away free the mp3 for the promotional D-90 Rules a track which looks back and reminisces on old times when G Vilas and Silver Shadows along with Nike Cagoules were sported and people used to go breaking down the back of the shopping centre.
JVF Clique – Submerged Language Vol.1 CD [Clique Recordings]
Not only is language a useful tool for communication, it is also one of the most powerful weapons that has been given to mankind. Allow me to introduce you to the JVF-Clique’s Submerged Language CD. The JVF-Clique are British hip hop artists from Leicester.
