Acid Jazz was established in 1987 by Eddie Piller with Gilles Peterson (who left in 1989 to form Talkin' Loud). Dean Rudland also managed the label in the early years.

Roc Records was a UK Hip Hop / Breaks label active between 1999 and 2006. The home of DJ Proper aka Proper DJ Superfresh and The Grand Lordmaster.

These guys brought out the first large scale prediominantly UK Hip Hop DVD.
