Jazz Liberatorz ft. Sadat X and Lizz Fields – Speak The Language 12″ [Kif SA Records]

Having worked with a cornucopia of cutting edge Hip Hop talent, this French production trio have built an impressive back catalogue over the last 10 years. Seek out their 12’s with Declaime, Aloe Blac, T Love and Fat Lip for the science.

Frustratingly, the formula for their 12 inch releases often consists of one banger – featuring a good American rapper – followed by two or three unremarkable instrumental plodders. True to form, ‘Speak the Language’ featuring Sadat X is essential; the other tunes have their moments but feel like dead weight.
