Kontagious - Right Now / Shake It Up CD [Eastside]This double AA single release delivers two remarkable tracks; ‘Right Now’ and the already hugely supported ‘Shake It Up’, released on 11th December 2006. Leading the way is the up-tempo, hype track ‘Right Now’. Fresh on the scene Kontagious bang this tune out, riding the sick rhythm, beats and urgent melody with lyrics flowing fast and furious to match.

Shake it up’ promotes feel good, party vibes both lyrically and musically. Kontagious deliver smooth flowing lyrics over laid back beats and Turkish / middle Eastern style riffs. Hitting you with their unique style, a fusion of hip-hop, R&B, grime and Turkish / Middle Eastern melodic influences Kontagious are on to a sure thing. They write, produce and perform all of their own material and have always kept their creativity by writing about many different subjects ranging from feel good party vibes to the grimier hip hop sound. They always deliver fresh music in their own way.

Kontagious - Right Now / Shake It Up CD [Eastside]Hailing from South London, hip-hop group Kontagious consist of four members Koray, Arkz, Lev-G & K-Rhyme. The group was formed in the summer of 2003 and since then have made their mark in and around London by performing at many showcases and events, including Choice FM Fresh and Junior Jam, Jump Off, Grab Da Mic, Hustlers Lounge and the 2005 London Peace Week Concert. They recently performed at the famous CC Club supporting R&B singer Montell Jordan in March and also appeared at an event associated with Rewind magazine called “RWD in stereo” earlier this year.

With three of the members being of Turkish origin, this has generated a lot of public interest especially with in the London Turkish Community where they have made a huge impact. Along with their recent media coverage Kontagious have also received tremendous support from many legal / pirate and internet radio stations across the UK including Kiss FM, Choice FM, BBC 1xtra, BBC Asian Network, Wire FM, Xtreme FM, Sweet FM, Nitro FM, Déjà vu, Sound Radio, Invincible Radio, Life FM, LTR (London Turkish Radio), Club Asia and Fierce FM.
