Leddie And Smoggy - Long Time Coming MP3 [EmuBands]

'Long Time Coming' is the latest single from Middlesbrough, UK based hip-hop duo Leddie And Smoggy's forthcoming album, Sorry We're Late…, which is set for release in early October. Following the success of debut single 'Walk The Line', 'Long Time Coming' serves as an explanation for the album's delay: mainly due to the artist's respective personal lives.

Leddie again provides some soulful boom bap production flipping a sample of Sam Cooke's classic 'A Change Is Gonna Come', providing the perfect backdrop to the pair's deep lyrical output. The video, directed by Nathaniel Bygrave of Escape Route Media, conveys the setbacks and obstacles within their lives, revealing 'another side' to them. This results in the duo being violently kidnapped and dumped in the middle of nowhere by their own alter-egos.

After building up a great following over the years, through countless live shows supporting big names in the UK hip-hop scene (Devlin, Scroobius Pip vs Dan Le Sac, Skinnyman, Chester P) as well as their well received 2009 mixtape, The Calm Before The Storm, Leddie And Smoggy were inducted as Generals into The Peoples Army, a nationwide hip-hop collective comprising the likes of Lowkey, Logic, English Frank, Mic Righteous and Genesis Elijah.

There is a lot of anticipation surrounding the eventual release of their debut album which they've been carefully crafting over the past 18 months, and the duo will undoubtedly deliver!

Look out for their third single set for release on September 18th. With Sorry We're Late… following in early October.
