Vicious Circle - 10 ShottWolverhampton record label WOLFTOWN RECORDINGS has been pumping out quality music since 1999. Now Wolftown Recordings unleashes the first of a string of CD releases by VICIOUS CIRCLE’s ‘10SHOTT’. It’s time to step to take a journey on the Ghetto Brick Road with one of the UK’s tightest and most talented emcees. 10SHOTT began rapping in the mid-nineties and signed to Wolftown Recordings back in 1997

His career began when LATE asked him to feature on the ‘Welcome To Wolftown’ by VILLAINS, before teaming up with SIZE8 to found VICIOUS CIRCLE and dropping the classic album ‘Bagged Out’ in 2001. The album was well received with support from Westwood, Skitz, Disorda & DJ Excalibah as well receiving 5/5 in HHC. The video for the VICIOUS CIRCLE video ‘Told You’ was showcased on MTV Base, Rapture TV and MTV France, as well as featuring on a Dark’n’Cold DVD. 10SHOTT is also an integral part of the WOLFTOWN COMMMITTE and his contributions on the ‘Legendary Status’ album was praised by DJ’s and Magazines in the UK, Europe and America. 10SHOTT has played live over the UK from Plymouth to Leicester, to Frome to London, as well as being asked to perform live at the Carlton TV Awards in 2004.

10 Shott - Ghetto Brick Road CD [Wolftown]Since then 10SHOTT has been working hard building his home studio and getting into music production as well as perfecting his totally original flow and style. He also featured on mixtapes in the UK and US, as well featuring on album releases by Lyrical Lizard (Midwest, US), Souljah Clique (Bristol, UK), Doyen D (Sheffield, UK), Cee-Rock ‘The Fury’ (New York, US) and LATE (Wolverhampton, UK). 10SHOTT also played live for BBC 1XTRA as part as there Midland’s Special, where he blew up the airwaves as he preformed ‘Haters’ and ‘Guy Inside The Ghetto’ live. These tracks have been supported by Mista Jam & Twin B from BBC1Xtra and DJ Skully from Terra Firma & Kiss FM.

‘Ghetto Brick Road’ is a collection of thirty freestyles recorded from the winter of 2004 to 2005. Here you really get to see how 10SHOTT has developed since his early days setting standards with flows and sung hooks making his tracks infectious. The mixtape is hosted by Wolverhampton’s Number One DJ SPRINGA who is known all over the Midlands for his excellent radio shows on FRONTLINE 106.3FM and various rammed-out live dates. Wolftown Recordings & UK Runnings CEO and RAGO Magazine Editor TRICKSTA put’s together the mix well adding another ingredient in this winning formula. This mixtape features some excellent solo joints as well as hefty collaborations with label mates SIZE8, BIG WAYNE, CONMAN, LATE, TRICKSTA, A1 and vocalists NADIA PEARSON and INNER SANCTUM. This is an insight to what we can expect from his full solo debut album on Wolftown Recordings in 2006. There is no doubt that 10SHOTT is one of the hottest in the UK right now and this mixtape proves it. 10SHOTT will also be hosting the Volume 4 of Tricksta’s UK Runnings too so please jump on the ‘Ghetto Brick Road’… you know it makes sense!
