Bear With Me 2: Bear Sophisticated is the second instalment of T.Bear’s, aka TB Tuberculosis’, #BWM mixtape series. The release showcases the influence Tupac Amaru Shakur had on a worldwide generation of artists. Unwilling to copy or add to the many run of the mill versions of the late, great, Tupac’s music, T.Bear has reworked and revisited the essence of originality and honesty in his favourite Tupac songs and re-expressed themes and feelings relevant to himself and the modern economical and societal conditions that affect those that dwell in the inner-city.
This has culminated in the production of one of the best and most relevant mixtapes to be released by a UK artist this year and displays a level of artistry and lyrical integrity that is somewhat bereft in hip hop and the music industry in general. The mixtape features, Genesis Elijah, Kyza Smirnoff, Iron Braydz and Mr Ti2bs to mention a few and is evidence, following on from #BWM1 and the underground classic Mixtape ‘Beast from the East‘, T.Bear a.k.a Tuberculosis has added another notch to the bedpost of lyrical excellence and just like those aforementioned projects this one is not to be missed!
