Verb T & Harry Love - Bring It Back To Basics CD [Silent Soundz]

Bring It Back To Basics is the exceptional new LP from Verb T and Harry Love, being co-released by Silent Soundz and Medication Records this March. After the incredible response to their single Showbitchness in 2002 it was only right that the duo would go on to create this full-length collaborative project.

Being the debut album from both of these artists, Bring It Back To Basics is undeniably one of the most anticipated homegrown hip-hop albums ever.

Verb T has previously released material on Low Life Records including the back-to-back album Backhand Slap Talk/Technical Illness with Kashmere, which flew off the shelves in 2004. Since his first release Ill Behaviour  back in 1999, Verb T has stepped up his flow, delivery and lyrical content on each of his projects and on Bring It Back To Basics he’s at the top of his game. With the number of rave reviews pouring in for the album’s first single Delusion, it’s clear that Verbs can step up strong to any of the UK’s most established artists.

Verb T & Harry Love - Bring It Back To Basics CD [Silent Soundz]Harry Love in the past has crafted smashes for most of the UK’s biggest artists including Klashnekoff, Fallacy and Killa Kela as well as strong contributions to both of Blak Twang’s most recent LP’s. As if his skills behind the boards were not enough it also has to be remembered that Harry was a founding member of The Scratch Perverts and the Extended Players and has been ripping up DJ sets the world over. Harry has performed alongside The Beastie Boys, Jurassic Five, Busta Rhymes, Mos Def, Roots Manuva and Raekwon to name a few.

As the main resident of infamous London hip-hop night, Kung Fu, Harry has been a part of many of the most memorable hip-hop shows in the Capital over the last few years and as such is a key figure in the Kung Fu movement. Alongside Silent Soundz, Kung Fu will be hosting the Bring It Back To Basics album launch party which will star the entire album’s featured artists alongside Verbs & Harry.

Featuring Yungun, Jehst and Kyza among others, Bring It Back To Basics is set to become an instant classic with Verb T’s thought provoking lyrics and pinpoint delivery and Harry’s broad production skills and crisp cuts. The first 12” from the album, Delusion, featuring two exclusive bonus tracks, stirred up a huge buzz on the scene, setting the stage for the inevitable release of the album for these hip-hop heavyweights!
