RELEASE DATE: 8TH AUGUST 2005

Ying Yang TwinsTVT Records go for the jugular and hit us hard with the latest offering from the irreverent Ying Yang Twins AKA D-Roc and Kaine. Aptly titled, 'U.S.A (United State of Atlanta)', this is their follow up to 2003's million selling TVT debut album, 'Me and My Brother' (the 2nd biggest independent album of 2004) and promises the usual dose of high octane energy often associated with the American duo.

Named after the Chinese symbol for light and dark (Yin and Yang), these Atlanta based bad boys have established themselves as urban music's most dominant twosome thanks to their ability to crank out hit after hit. Whether working with hometown super-producers Lil' Jon or Mr. Collipark or pairing up with pop princess Britney Spears, the Ying Yang Twins bring the fun back into music.

Their first single 'Wait (The Whisper Song)', taken from the album, tore up the charts and turned out to be a Billboard staple. Indeed, the Twins have successfully muzzled the detractors and outlasted their many critics to become platinum-plus fixtures on the pop charts. After less than eight weeks, 'Wait' is already top 20 on Hot R&B/Hip Hop Singles and Tracks in the States, it's the 2nd most streamed video on MTV.com, No. 3 in the US Rap Chart, No. 5 in the US R'n'B Chart, No. 3 ringtone in the US and is shifting into top 50 territory on The Billboard Hot 100. In the UK, 'Wait' has been added to Brand Spanking New Video on MTV Base.

TVT RecordsTough, sexy and most definitely not for the faint hearted, 'U.S.A (United State of Atlanta' is an impressive collection of tracks that will delight and surprise the Ying Yang Twins' legions of fans. As quickly as they get raunchy about their bedroom tricks and secrets on 'Wait', 'Pull My Hair' and 'Bedroom Boom' featuring Avant, the trilogy of the whisper song, the Twins get earnest on 'Belle' featuring Anthony Hamilton and 'Live Again', which invites Maroon 5's Adam Levine on the hook.

Featuring appearances by a lineup of marquee artists including Mike Jones, Three 6 Mafia  and labelmates Pitbull & Jacki-O, 'U.S.A' casts a wide net that is sure to reel in more fans. "United State of Atlanta is all about showing everybody that Atlanta and the Ying Yang Twins are bigger than the strip club," says D-Roc. "We're just trying to put the love back in the music and let people know that there are still people who really make music from the soul."

So with the Ying Yang Twins there is no in-between. You gotta love 'em or leave 'em alone! But no matter which side you're on, you're guaranteed to appreciate their approach and tenacity. Don't miss.
