Bristol-based producer Sam Krats has been gaining momentum on the UK circuit recently, working with an ever-growing list of international talent. His latest single "Annihilate" pairs El Da Sensei of the legendary US duo Artifacts, with two-time EOW champ, member of the UK super-posse Gatecrasherz, and formidable soloist Gee Bag.

Croydon based rap outfit TPS Fam have steadily been etching their name into the tapestry of UK hip-hop over recent years. Their 2012 sophomore album The Big Q.P was widely well received, firmly cementing them as a stand-out talking point, amongst a modern industry that often seems somewhat hindered by an overabundance of emerging mediocrity.

This one comes straight out of my regular bag of stuff sent to me by Tricksta's Park Street PR. The quality of those releases generally varies a bit - I'm not totally won over by the Wolftown sound, although I do have the utmost respect for their hustle, passion and dedication. However, each package with a Wolverhampton postcode always contains at least one absolute gem.

Formerly a member of the Hip-Hop group 35 Above, GEE BAG has taken matters into his own hands and has gone solo in '05. GEE BAG (born Gavin Shaw) has an overwhelming passion for Hip-Hop music, whether from the perspective of a mature artist or the perspective of a fanatic of the whole movement and culture.

I hadn’t heard of Geebag until now, but apparently he has been around for a bit of time now and has performed at the Apollo theatre and even the Italian National Breakdancing Championships in 2004. He has also just won Ras Kwame and Baby J’s 1Xtra Homegrown talent competition.
