Mr Flex from Chosen Spokesmen finally drops the much anticipated release of his superb 'Nothing To Prove EP'. Featuring production from some the UK's biggest beat-makers such as Kelakovski, Chemo, Risk Beats and Beat Butcha, this is EP is a must for UK Rap fans. The EP also features Chosen Spokesmen members Blick Kid, Danger The Sergeant and Modulation, as well as guest features from female vocalist Sophie and UK heavy-hitters Ramson Badbonez, Iron Braydz, Kosyne and DJ 456.

Sonnyjim's Australia only project The Psychonaut is set for a July release. It features Prince Po, Foreign Beggars, Prime, Mata and Must, Cappo and also some serious heavyweight producers in the form off Illmind, Mphazes, Jehst, Kelakovski, Urban Monk, Pete Cannon etc., check the snippet reel for the LP below.

Here's my (un-edited) review of YNR's Feeding Time At The Zoo, originally written for and published in HHC Digital 002, it was their album of the month:

Skreintax may not have been the most obvious collaboration. Dr Syntax and Skrein each have quite a unique take on Hip Hop but in no way is ‘Scene Stealers’ a mash-up of the two. Synners and Skrizzle have cooperated to create a joint stage for their skills.

Serving up prime slabs of heavyweight beats and tasty rhymes is West London MC Doc Brown. He initially burst on the scene with the remix of Gary Jules’ Mad World and released his debut LP The Document last year. This time he returns with 16 tracks which add to the Citizen Smith franchise.

The Doc’s back with another one, and he’s come a long way. Not content with Poisonous Poet fame, solo recognition with Citizen Smith Vol. 1 and The Document and BBC Radio and TV success, Mister Brown is planting Citizen Smith Vol.2 into the mix and paving the way for his brother and fellow PP fam Luc Skyz: next to put his stamp on the game.

Kelakovski is reppin’ the U.K. with some sharp, heavy beats tailored toward the indie end of the hip hop spectrum. The talented producer has worked with some of the more reputable and political MCs we have to offer such as Lowkey and Skrein (Foreign Beggars), but don’t assume he’s Russian from the moniker, “I came up with the name by combining my surname (Kelleher) with a classical musicians name (Tchaikovsky) & came up with Kelakovski!... and no... I'm not Russian!”…
