Female rapper Amplify Dot unveils the first single taken from her Short Back & Sides EP, released in 2012. King Kong follows her Summer smash Semantics, featuring Kano. It was the lead track from her debut mixtape Born Ready which featured Lioness, Booty Luv and STUSH to name a few. As well as a headline performance at Industry night ILUVLIVE in 2011, and key support from BBC Radio 1Xtra, Choice and Kiss FM, Amplify Dot was named as a 'one to watch' by The London Evening Standard.

16's Slaughter is made up of 16 verses only. And he makes the most of them, considering each track displays a different spitting style. ‘Bandana On The Right Side’ reminds me of the theory that although Britain ‘stole’ America’s old school hip hop. New school hip hop has stolen the raw British soul. And in this track, A Dot has stolen it back.
