Ever wished someone a happy birthday but you didn't really mean it? Gold On The Mixer are proud to present the second collaboration between Amos and producer Palmer Eldritch, ‘Unhappy Birthday’, a personal reflection on ageing, isolation and the perils of self-service checkouts.
Dutch Auction is the first single taken from the upcoming album by Amos - Unhappy Birthday The whole thing is produced by Palmer Eldritch. Sumptuous strings for a beat-less production make for a semi-accapella track. Amos' raps are strong and he ably fills out the minimal production.
The next single from producer Zatoichi's Ears is Bloodline. The track makes use of minimal backing and no drums with MCs Deeq and Amos delivering almost accapella verses.
Finally this project which has been sitting unreleased for nigh on seven years gets to see the light of day. Amos and Hooper Stax have delivered up some classic material here.
