The East End's finest screen print gallery Nelly Duff is working with the world renowned street artist EINE and a collective of mad artisan printers in a feat of technical printing brilliance (or craziness!) never before seen. The record attempt starts on March 18th screen-printing EINE's internationally recognised Full Colour Shutter Font artwork with the most individual spot colours ever editioned entirely by hand.
Mike Marcus is a conceptual artist and photographer who grew up in Tel Aviv, Israel, and now resides in North London. He is an opponent to Israel’s occupation of the Palestinian territories and expresses dissent through his art.
London Frontline member and highly respected artist - Mr. P is also a member of the infamous ATG crew. He is now set to bring you a showcase of raw new material in a solo exhibition. The exhibition is to be held at Flaxton Ptootch gallery.
We are very excited about Mr Jago’s first London solo show, which opens on Thursday at Stolenspace gallery in Brick Lane. He really has grafted over past few months to create the biggest body of work he has ever produced, so if you are a fan (or not) then you really should make an effort to get there. The show runs from the 11th to the 28th September.
Whilst walking down Essex Road in Islington late last year I spotted the posters, displayed below, on the street. So I whipped out the phone and took a couple of pictures before being dragged off. I was surprised to not hear about these on message boards and the like, so thought I would post them here for your comments.
For any fan of Banksy’s work this book should become essential reading. Whereas Wall & Piece is official and comprehensive in detailing Banksy’s later work and stunts, and Banksy Locations & Tours by Martin Bull suited a specific purpose, but is now largely redundant due the stencils being buffed, Home Sweet Home is a celebration of Banksy’s street art in his home city of Bristol and mainly focuses on Banksy’s formative years and early works.
