2007 has been a rollcoaster of a year for N-Dubz - the dynamic trio from Camden. Their huge underground success has catapulted them to the forefront of the UK’s urban music scene. Tracks such as ‘Feva Las Vegas’ and the ridiculously infectious ‘I Swear’ quickly became urban anthems and their latest single ‘You Better Not Waste My Time’ looks certain to do the same.

Britishhiphop.co.uk have been following N-Dubz, the Camden based trio for some time now. Now after a year of underground success, N-Dubz look ready to launch their assault on the rest of the world with their latest single. This autumn they will be releasing their new single ‘You Better Not Waste My Time’ out on October 22nd through LRC / Polydor Records.
The buzz around N-Dubz is really beginning to bite. Here Tulisa, Dappy and Faze deliver a storming mix of commercial r’n’b and Hip Hop. This latest single Feva Las Vegas is set to catapult them further on the way to stardom as it looks like it could be huge. The single is already on constant rotation of music TV channels and just stays in your mind.
Hate them or love them, N-Dubz look set to explode in 2007 and there’s nothing you can do about it. Their hit singles ‘Better Not Waste My Time’ and the huge ‘I Swear’ have made them regular features on Channel U, MTV and all major radio stations. For the most part people are responding enthusiastically to the extremely talented group from Camden but then there are always critics.
In partnership with the Roundhouse Summer programme, this youth poetry slam – with MC Nii Ayikwei Parkes – will engage young people and the wider in creating innovating forms of poetry. The theme will be Black Histories. Contestants will work on there entries throughout the summer and will perform their final pieces at the poetry slam held at the Roundhouse. Camden is proud to present to you a fantastic Black History Month program for 2006 that celebrates the achievements and history of Black African and Caribbean communities who live and work in the borough. This years theme is ‘Spoken Word’ and will offer a wide range wide range of different forms including rap, writing, song, Film and performing arts.
N.Dubz are coming out of Camden and are apparently five releases deep on the LRC records label. The trio combine Hip Hop, soulful vocals and youthful energy and wit that by all reports has seen them compared to the BEP and has apparently got some major labels interested.
