De Facto Entertainment is proud to present 'Unicron' courtesy of Nottingham veteran Cappo aka Grizwald aka Grand Imperial aka etc. produced by boom bap aficionado Stealf. The consistent work rate combined with the deep abstract lyricism is why Cappo is regarded as one of the greats in UK Hip Hop and Stealf holds an impressive production resume which promises that 'Unicron' will live up to that reputation.
Boom Bap Professionals present 'Eventually', the 2nd single from the Benny Diction and Able8 album 'Life Moves' (BBP20). Over Able's uplifting, multi-layered production, Benny details the hard work and dedication that go into pursuing your passions, which many will be able to relate to no matter your chosen field: "He keeps traipsing on this expedition / Though his feet are aching from the endless missions".
Drug Corpse sees IMS teaming up with new vocal collaborators such as; Cappo, Geebag, TPS FAM, More1, Cor Stadik, Deeflux and Efeks, as well as collaborations with long-time associates Joey Menza, Theme, Oliver Sudden and more. All chosen for their individuality style and incredible artistic abilities.
Hailing from Nottingham, Cappo none other than the Grand Imperial, aka Gusto Grizwold is a writer, performer and producer with experience spanning two decades. This is Blunted Astronaut's twentieth release, and sees the Iron Condor take flight over some left-field beats by North London recluse and audiophile, DJ Drinks.
'Life Moves' is the brainchild of prominent London-based MC Benny Diction and prolific Australian beats producer Able8. The two met at a Melbourne hip-hop night in 2011 and have been working together since. Both established artists in their own right, they have combined to turn hip-hop on its head and create something that stands out from the usual format. Able8's signature sound combines the world of dusty vinyl samples with heavy bass-laden electronic sounds and swinging drums, providing the perfect backdrop for Benny to paint his intricate, tightly-woven rhymes. The result is an exciting mix of classic hip-hop with a futuristic, off-kilter sound.
Hello! I want to tell you about this latest EP from North Yorkshire producer and graffiti artist Kista because it's great. On Grand Emporium you got tracks with dope emcees Tableek (from Maspyke), Stan Illa (US), Cappo and Elliot Fresh (UK) as well as some nice chilled instrumentals.
The Doctor's Orders have always done their part for the home team and tonight they go all out with an incredible line up of UK talent performing both live and DJ sets. The UK is strong if you look at the moment. There is stuff out there to check behind all the fluff available as well. Associated Minds are one of the labels that consistently come up with the goods. Today they drop a brand new mix from UK DMC finalist Killer Tomato and Mayor featuring some of the UK's finest hip-hop producers and emcees. These should all be names you are aware of and all are artists who know how to smash their sector and never compromise their commitment to the craft and style.
