Born and raised in the Netherlands, critically acclaimed producer Nicolay has launched his own label, Nicolay Music, in partnership with Premium Blend Music Productions (GmbH). The first album release will be Time:Line, a concept album by Nicolay & Kay. The launch of Nicolay Music echoes the sentiment that the future of the music business lies in establishing and maintaining a direct artist-fan relationship.

Nicolay is best known as the producing half of The Foreign Exchange, whose debut album Connected made a huge impact. Since then, he has produced for Little Brother, Supastition, Masta Ace, Strange Fruit Project and Zion I, remixed tracks for Roy Ayers, Bob James, Candy Dulfer and many others and has now started his own label.

The album Connected was an online creation of producer Nicolay from the Netherlands and Phonte of Little Brother from the U.S.A. Over 18 months, they created the album through instant messenger without having even a telephone conversation.

Two of the hardest hustlas' in the rap game get Connected. A new project with a release date of November 14 features Houston's "Freestyle King" Lil' Flip and the West Coast’s "Hustle King", Mr. Capone-e. The two combine their flow to create a raw, hard-hitting 21-track reflection of their worlds entitled Connected.
