Triple Darkness launched their first single from their forthcoming debut album ‘Anathema’ at Herbal on the 4th of January 2008. Joining them on the night were a number of established and up and coming artists including Blak Twang, The IRS, Mr Drastick, DJ Vadim, Mr Thing, Pyrelli and Yungun.
The Frisson Gallery is excited to present a new exhibition by the very talented Supa Dupa… Originating from far and wide, Supa Dupa consists of six artists united by beer and good times. Initially it was solely about drawing / painting sessions late into the night when there were far more important things to be done. Now 2 years on, this crew have made a name for themselves (be it unintentionally) through their unique collaborative style.
The Bronx Bomber, the Godfher of Grafitti, SEEN returns to London this week, for this his second solo show titled 'Sign Of The Times' at the Stolen Space Gallery. This show will consist of new canvas works, found or stolen NYC objects, releif pieces, city signs & subway maps. The show opens to the public on Friday the 26th October and runs until the 18th of November.
As part of the StreetBlitz art action fortnight, Random Artists are calling an impromptu Street Gallery this Sunday, the 15th July, in the Hackney area. We are inviting all to bring art and sculptures to hang from trees, attach to railings and hide in bushes. But as always this is also a celebration, so bring performance, music, laughter and, of course, a picnic!
On 4th July the Frisson gallery on Palace Street, Canterbury will hold its grand opening together with an exhibition of work by Bristol street artist Sickboy - the first official Frisson exhibition. This will be followed by a free performance from the acclaimed gypsy jazz quartet, Smile at the Orange Street Music Club, Orange St, Canterbury.
