To say that Deeflux has been putting in work around the UK hip-hop circuit would be a major understatement. With his two-part Weapons Of Mass Destruction mixtape, and two releases from his US produced side-project Oddio Kin, all released from 2008 to 2010 and available free from Bandcamp, not to mention the work he puts in helping run successful hip-hop night Holdin' Court, and as hip-hop producer for 103.7 KaneFM, its fair to say hes been putting more than enough work in.
Holdin' Court returns this week with their Second Birthday Anniversary Celebration. It's been a progressive past couple of years in which the Holdin’ Court show has seen some of the best rap acts the UK has to offer gracing the stage.
On Saturday 30th January Holdin' Court will return to The White Hart, Basingstoke. Mikey Terra, DJ Dixie, Louie G and DJ Juice and Mavrik will all be performing along with guest DJ Brother Beatbox and HC's resident DJ’s. A new addition to our night will be the introduction of an Open-Mic competition and an open-bboy circle. The night is to be hosted by Deeflux of FAN records.
Holdin' Court brought their Monthly Hip-Hop night to Basingstoke for a one off demo show, as a warm-up / first day after party to Basingstoke Live. The show itself was jammed packed with a mixture of performers... as had been billed by the night’s organisers.
