The story of how Late & Lil Tec come to do this mixtape is a sad one. For those deep Wolftown fans you'll have probably heard of Lil Tec spit on 'The Thug & The Villain' on Late's 'Villainous One' release a few years back. This collobo was hooked up by the late great American mixtape genius Big Gee Damme who sadly passed away just after mixing his mix for Wolftown entitled 'The Empire Strikes Back'.

Following on from Late's superb first volume hosted by Chamillionaire, Late continues to represent the 'Lone Star State' once more, this time with a collection of twenty eight tracks in the mix hosted by Trae from Rap-A-Lot Records and ABN. There's a great deal of great music on this mixtape and all starts with Hawk's 'H Town Stomp' anthem followed by Trae's single 'Swang' which features Fat Pat and Hawk.

DJ Cashis Kay & Mister Marlon team up with the UK’s hardest working rapper Late for what can only be described as a future classic. It showcases twenty-two tracks by The Villainous One and really does hit hard with all of Late’s underground tracks being featured here.

It’s no secret that UK DJ’s & CEO’s of Wolftown ‘Late & Tricksta’ are big fans of everything SPC. If you look back in the history you’ll see that Late & K-Rino collaborated on a Tricksta produced beat back in 2002 with the now classic ‘Cold World’ track from Late’s ‘International Rhyme Spittin EP’.

This is a mixtape series that what was founded back in 2001 by rapper / ceo / producer / magazine editor Late from Wolftown Recordings. Its aim? Simple, to expose underground talent to a wider audience. It’s all about supporting and promoting, keep pushing back the boundaries.
