Alternative hip hop trio The Mighty Underdogs play their first UK date in support of their forthcoming debut album release ‘Droppin Science Fiction’. The Mighty Underdogs are Blackalicious’s Gift of Gab, fellow Quannum compatriot Lateef the Truth Speaker and Bay Area producer Headnodic. They are signed to the critically acclaimed Def Jux label home to Aesop Rock, Mr Lif, El-P and more!

Akrobatik’s varsity rhyme career hatched in 1998, when his first single, “Ruff Enuff”, dropped on Boston’s own Detonator Records. In addition to introducing fans to Ak’s accessible intellectuality, the album paired him with co-defendant Mr. Lif for the first time on “The Fat Sh**” B-side and fueled anticipation for an ensuing 12” flurry.

Mr Lif returns to the UK this month with a headline date @ Jazz Cafe on 21st October. A European tour (full details below) comes to the UK on 19th October and takes in Glasgow, Nottingham, Leeds and Bristol. Earlier this year, Mr Lif played to a packed 93 Feet East in Shoreditch, East London and the Def Jux signed Mc's amazing live show is sure to be a total sell out once again!!
