Bear With Me 2: Bear Sophisticated is the second instalment of T.Bear's, aka TB Tuberculosis', #BWM mixtape series. The release showcases the influence Tupac Amaru Shakur had on a worldwide generation of artists. Unwilling to copy or add to the many run of the mill versions of the late, great, Tupac's music, T.Bear has reworked and revisited the essence of originality and honesty in his favourite Tupac songs and re-expressed themes and feelings relevant to himself and the modern economical and societal conditions that affect those that dwell in the inner-city.

Coming up under the wing of Task Force can never be a bad thing. First appearing in 2002 on the ‘Mud Fam EP’ and then again in 2003 on ‘Music From The Corner Volume 2’, Ramson Badbonez has had a good start in UK rap life. Along with DJ Harry Love he now brings us an epic collection of verses and concepts over a load of beats from the greats (Premier, RZA, 9th Wonder, Alchemist, Madlib and more).

The tracklist for DJ Gone's 'Sin City', out now on Kung Fu, kinda speaks for itself to any UKHH head. Featuring the cream of the scene and in the vein of Kung Fu's showcasing 'Sin City' is over an hour's worth of exclusive freestyles and tracks - it's basically a must for those fans who strive for more than an artist's album and single output. It's also pretty essential for anyone who just wants to bump quality Hip Hop for an hour.

If the aim of ‘Food 4 Da Brain Second Serving’ wasn’t to serve up a platter of perfectly complementing flavours then I’ll eat my hat. If that is what they set out to do then they’ve royally achieved it. The menu offers up tracks from the finest chefs on either side of the UK Hip Hop / Grime divide; in fact it tastily demonstrates the breaking down of the boundary.

There's a lot of people in the UK who like rapping. That's a given... the question is, how do you want to hear your rhythmic poetic diction packaged? Far too many people - particularly those who wouldn't identify themselves culturally as part of "Hip-Hop" - are still looking to the United States as their best source for rhymes over beats.

The UK’s number one mixtape DJ is back once again. Hot on the heels of Tricksta’s last ‘UK only’ mixtape ‘The Urban Shop Mix’, comes Part Two to the success ‘National Anthems Mixtape’ that he dropped last summer. Once again it features the cream of the crop including some unreleased material by the likes of Akala, Conman, Late, Reveal, Baby Blue, Big Wayne, Swift It Major, Mr. Ti2bs and Size8 from Vicious Circle, as well as contributions from the likes of Sway, Klashnekoff, MD7, Mike GLC, Kyza, Lowkey, Alex Blood and Def1.

Unfortunately, the RBK Now Playing events scheduled for today and Saturday in Manchester and London have been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. The police were unable to support the event and with the anticipated turnout, it would have been dangerous to continue with the event.
