Arguably the hottest rapper in the game, the Miami based phenomenon Rick Ross hits the UK for an exclusive live show at London's Proud2 on Monday 2nd April. Rick Ross's initial rise in the rap game came from his colourful glamorisation of Miami's reputation for drug trafficking. The distinctive 300-pound, six foot rapper tattooed with pictures of AK-47s embraced his city's reputation on his debut single Hustlin' in 2006. While Atlanta and Houston artists were establishing their cities as Southern strongholds, Ross aimed at putting Miami back in rap's national spotlight.

Budding entrepreneur, music industry trend-setter, successful Platinum rapper and Executive Producer, Rick Ross (Def Jam / Slip N' Slide) is set to release his highly-anticipated documentary, "M. I. Yayo" on March 25th 2008, two weeks following the release of his sophomore effort, "Trilla", which is also due in stores on March 11th 2008.

Rick Ross is known in the music industry as a man to come to if you need a hit. Just ask Too $hort, Bird Man, Daz Dillinger, R. Kelly, Snoop, and the host of other MC's that have requested his husky vocals on their tracks. Jay-Z signed him to Def Jam Records following a large bidding war with other big boys like Interscope and Atlantic Records.
