We have all been waiting for ages for this. There was stories that Roots Manuva had been dropped, but this was obviously bunkum with Roots being one of the label’s most successful artists. So now the wait is over as Roots Manuva releases the first single from his forthcoming LP.

Following in the tradition of the huge Soundcrash Spectacular with DJ Krush, they're bringing you arguably the UK's best MC, Roots Manuva with long time collaborator DJ MK in one almighty apocalypse of a show.

Stars including Mylo, Roots Manuva and the Mercury Prize-nominated Hot Chip are supporting Oxjam, a unique month-long music festival taking place across the UK in October. They are joining Oxfam in calling on budding DJs, MCs, producers and clubbers to get involved by supporting Oxjam events in their area, or by organising an event themselves.

Oshin the Nomad of 57th Dynasty fame and later his own independently produced and directed UK docudrama series entitled Independent Hype, is now having his work acknowledged by way of his Screen Nation Film & Television Award.
 

Seanie T has put together the heaviest of heavyweight UK Hip Hoppers for a group of releases starting with 'Ere Comes Da Black'. All releases are on Seanie T's Dark Horizons imprint, with an album to follow later this year. 'Ere Comes Da Black' is out 10th October 2005.
