After several years seemingly out of the game Stig Of The Dump is back with a bang. Sporting a lockdown haircut he's lost none of his demeanour on the mic. We have been missing this.

Long time collaborator of J Dilla and Big Proof releases debut album on TRES Records. It feels wrong, though, to call this a 'debut' record because it doesn't sound like a first-try. Official debut, or not, House Shoes is not new. He released the now treasure-hunted Jay Dee 'Unreleased EP' (1996), and Phat Kat's classic 'Dedication to the Suckers' (1999) on his own imprint. He's produced for the late Big Proof (D12), J Dilla, Elzhi, and Danny Brown. He's DJ'ed for Black Milk, Guilty Simpson, Mayer Hawthorne, Slum Village, and too many more to list.

Five years ago the UK hip hop landscape changed with the arrival of The Doctors Orders to the proceeding. Named by Time Out as being “the kings of the capital's hip hop scene”, they have been responsible for throwing some of the biggest and best hip hop parties from London to Plymouth and not forgetting the famous Brighton beach parties and weekenders.

When word hit the street that Hip Hop production royalty Just Blaze and The Alchemist were not only coming to the UK, but also were actually preparing to go head to head, the scramble for tickets and interviews was on.

Already being called "...the 4th quarters finest record", Hunger Pains is the highly anticipated full length release from underground heavyweight Bekay. Over the past few years, Bekay has created a loyal, cult-like following in the underground hip-hop community by relentlessly recording, performing and grinding. Known for his complex imagery, shock value and clever wordplay, Bekay has established himself as a rather controversial figure in the hip-hop game.

The Swollen Members release their fifth album, (and first UK release through TVT) which is entitled ‘Black Magic’ in January 2007. ‘Black Magic’ is fuel-injected with passion and marks a triumphant return for Swollen Members.
