Everyone knows Tricksta’s name right? But does everyone know quite the extent of his work for our music scene? I interviewed him to get the complete low down from start to finish. Just to prove how internationally hard working he is, we had to break off the interview half way through whilst he spoke to K-Rino on the phone! Here’s what he had to say:
Back once again for the very third time; UK Runnings and The Urban Shop drop a bigger and better CD. This time every track is exclusive hence the name: 100% Exclusive. Now who else could do that? No-one, only Tricksta. To add to the largeness there’s a DVD that almost deserves a review of it own.
The UK’s number one mixtape DJ is back once again. Hot on the heels of Tricksta’s last ‘UK only’ mixtape ‘The Urban Shop Mix’, comes Part Two to the success ‘National Anthems Mixtape’ that he dropped last summer. Once again it features the cream of the crop including some unreleased material by the likes of Akala, Conman, Late, Reveal, Baby Blue, Big Wayne, Swift It Major, Mr. Ti2bs and Size8 from Vicious Circle, as well as contributions from the likes of Sway, Klashnekoff, MD7, Mike GLC, Kyza, Lowkey, Alex Blood and Def1.
