Leading youth work charity UK Youth conducted an online survey, of 588 young people on their views of young people in the media, through its young people led arm UK Youth Voice (UKYV). The survey found that young people clearly have to take the lead in changing their image in the media, but the media also has a responsibility to reflect what young people are doing.
Taking place between the 12th and 18th November, Enterprise Week provides the biggest annual celebration of all things enterprising across the UK. Last year over 448,000 people took part in events nationwide. As part of the celebration UK Youth is highlighting enterprise projects developed and delivered by young people in the UK Youth network.
Festival Stage One – a unique music and dance festival – will give over 1000 young people, aged 13-21, the chance to take part in auditions and workshops supported by professionals from the music industry – who will be seeking to discover the best young talent in the UK.
