Dubbledge – Biography
Dubbledge said, “A Rasta man once told me that the tongue is a double-edged sword. Even though it may be one of the smallest muscles in your body, it can do the most damage. It can start wars or bring peace".

The Slough Town rapper Joker Starr's album 'MACKnificent' will be released on March 19th 2015. The guest verse on the title track is taken care of by veteran wordsmith Kashmere, one half of the group Strange U whilst all production is taken care of by DJ IQ. With a combo like that we can expect something that will hit the right spots. All these guys have been in the game for a while now and never fail to deliver and I am sure this will be no different.
Dubbledge is certainly no freshmen in the British music scene. He’s done the festivals – Glastonbury included; tore up stages from London to Glasgow, performed all across Europe throughout Spain, Switzerland, Norway, Holland and Germany and recorded with some of the biggest talents the UK has to offer including Chase & Status, Alesha Dixon, Foreign Beggars, Jehst, Braintax, DJ Vadim, Kyza and The Scratch Perverts!
Sonnyjim's Australia only project The Psychonaut is set for a July release. It features Prince Po, Foreign Beggars, Prime, Mata and Must, Cappo and also some serious heavyweight producers in the form off Illmind, Mphazes, Jehst, Kelakovski, Urban Monk, Pete Cannon etc., check the snippet reel for the LP below.
At the tail end of 09, Dubbledge dropped the incredible 'One Inch Punch' Mix-CD, which saw the emcee bring an entire LP worth of lyrical heat over the mid-90s most loved hip-hop instrumentals. But you wanted more - the heads demanded some material over original beats, and boy, does Edge deliver. To bridge the gap before the album proper drops (with some very big surprise guest producers), here are two bangers that will surely whet the appetite for the impending madness of his sophmore LP.
Here's my (un-edited) review of YNR's Feeding Time At The Zoo, originally written for and published in HHC Digital 002, it was their album of the month:
Boundaries are meant to be broken and limits are there to be pushed. Ghost isn't afraid to challenge all preconceptions of what being a producer means and refuses to be pigeonholed by a single category. Known for his hip-hop production and remix work for the likes of Nicole Willis he now ventures into unchartered territory.
Skreintax, the hook-up between Skrein and Dr. Syntax, released their album ‘Scene Stealers’ in December, an album which despite being excellent, sounded like it should have arrived during the summer months.
Asaviour has been on the rise for a few years now and his forthcoming LP 'The A Loop Theory' will surely cement him a place at the top of the UK Rap pile. Here he is talking about his past, Lowlife, who he's worked with and which tracks off his new album with DJ IQ are his favourites:
How cold is it outside right now? I am sure it is not as cold as the mix featuring Joker Starr amongst others titled Pimp My Mix, which is free might I add. An intelligent mix by DJ IQ aka May The Force Be With You aka DMC Champ 2003 for your listening enjoyment and pleasure. Its an eclectic mix for an ecletics fix for pimps, tricks and hoes who all got one thing in common, the love for the music.
