The drizzly, heads-down mood embodied by CW Jones crooning from street corner shadows on the hook, Jehst, wise and weary at once, looks around as “an old man with many stories to tell… we sell our dreams but we ain’t ready to rebel”.
The Channel 4-featured Sindysman throws in his agitated, two penneth worth on top of Sam Zircon‘s production, smoothed out but unable to resist feeling on-edge.
‘Lonely World’ follows ‘One Horse Town‘ featuring Confucius MC and Eva Lazarus, both consuming the mood of Jehst’s sixth album Mork Calling Orson.
