A decade after Faith SFX edged Beardyman to become the inaugural UK Beatbox Champion, the UK Beatbox Championships celebrates its 10 year anniversary in style, hosting its biggest event to date.
Although I wasn't there to witness the inevitable majesty of Wednesday's show, Tuesday's show was fantastic nevertheless. The reunion and 10 year anniversary of the Asylum Speakers album, featuring artists and full band made this a landmark of UK Hip Hop history. With both shows sold out, Dark Circle opened up, having travelled from Germany and Iceland, and set the tone for an incredible evening of music.
The Foreign Beggars have a new LP 'The Uprising' out right now and are promoting it with live shows. As you will be well aware the Beggars put on a special show, so it is reccomened you get yourself out to join the party. They have gigs across the country in the month of October, so they should be hitting a town near you.
