Tyler Daley and Konny Kon, together the Children Of Zeus toured their recent LP Balance in October. This video captures pre-event backstage build up and the performance of Sunrise which took place at the Manchester Ritz.
Children of Zeus drop smooth vibes and a pushing bass kick and distended bassline make for a neo-soul classic. On The Most Humblest of All Time, Ever, Tyler Daley and Konny Kon rip up the raps and singing. Timeless and beautiful.

Manchester's Children Of Zeus, comprised of Konny Kon and Tyler Daley drop an understated and softly spoken-word type poem with Be Someone. As this crew do there is very poignant rhymes. Track is a soulful affair produced by Beat Butcha and Cam Griffin.
What do you think of when asked to consider the Manchester music scene? Well, if you're my age and were in your teens when Britpop hit, your first thought might well be Oasis. I won't deny for a second that Manchester might equally well be celebrated for its significant and progressive connections with rave culture - for example, the legacy of the Hacienda and more recently a stunning take on Liquid Funk D&B courtesy of Soul:R Records.
We like Ed209 here and have given rave reviews to his previous production work on the earlier Exstatic based EPs. We are a bit confused as we have noticed another Ed209 doing some Dubstep or some other such stuff and we wondered if this was the same guy turning his skills to another genre. Well, never mind, he is now back to hip hop and for this, the last of the proposed Exstatic EPs he has pulled out all the stops with the vocalists he has got to perform over his beats.
