MC and beat maker Mr Melta is back with his second album, ‘Goat Forever‘. Coming off the back of 2022’s ‘More Songs About Me‘ EP, and more recently his ‘Hot Take‘ single, Melta drops this ten track project all produced by Melta himself.
Throughout the project Melta utilises many styles and influences, from the trap style flows of ‘Disco Biscuits‘, an ode to intoxication, to the classic boom bap of ‘As The Rain Pours‘, a reflective track that features long time friend Jimmy Danger.
The albums other feature comes from Cambridge OG and lyrical beast Slang Immaculate, who lends his razor sharp wordplay to second track ‘Untouchable‘.
Over the course of the ten tracks Melta covers a variety of topics, veering from upbeat, carefree tracks like ‘Hot Take’ to hard, gritty numbers such as the title track ‘Goat Forever’.
The album is arguably Melta’s most personal release to date and his personality and struggles are shared with raw transparency, however the overall feel is still of someone having fun doing what they love with infectious energy.
