Long time collaborator of J Dilla and Big Proof releases debut album on TRES Records. It feels wrong, though, to call this a 'debut' record because it doesn't sound like a first-try. Official debut, or not, House Shoes is not new. He released the now treasure-hunted Jay Dee 'Unreleased EP' (1996), and Phat Kat's classic 'Dedication to the Suckers' (1999) on his own imprint. He's produced for the late Big Proof (D12), J Dilla, Elzhi, and Danny Brown. He's DJ'ed for Black Milk, Guilty Simpson, Mayer Hawthorne, Slum Village, and too many more to list.

After years of establishing himself as one of leading producers in the UK hip hop scene, Beat Butcha has been working hard on solidifying his name in the US. Via a wide range of work producing for Sean Price, Tony Yayo, Danny Brown, Havoc of Mobb Deep, Mac Miller, Canibus, Souljah Boy, and many more.

In the late-nineties, eLZhi made a name for himself by moving his way up through the ranks of Detroit's underground scene and teaming up with Slum Village for his first big taste of success. He has since been making the rounds, working with local Detroit luminaries such as J Dilla, Waajeed of Platinum Pied Pipers, and Dwele, in addition to a well-received solo tour of Europe during his early years in the game.
