Reading MC Ash The Author and Under The Sun Records producer George Fields have linked on Subterranean. A bass heavy banger for Ash to drop bars explaining he is recognised from Land's End to John O'Groats. This is the B-Side to the previously well received Village Live Records release Phantoms.
Next up on the 'Village Live and Direct' series is the brand new single 'Kimura', by Manchester based UK producer Lone Apostrophe. A haunting instrumental in the pentatonic scale which evokes a Japanese feel and is likely penned in homage to the judoka and professional wrestler.

This is a real nice instrumental with a pumping bass, jingle bells hi-hats, periodic vocal wail and mellow sax alongside the sampled 'yeah' and 'Keep On' of the title.
Manchester based DJ and Producer 'Cutterz' drops a brand new single 'Sitting In The Dark', which is lifted from his forthcoming LP that is set to drop on Village Life Records early 2022. A souldful easy going production which oozes quality.
Next up on the 'Village Live and Direct' series is the brand new single 'Locked Eyes', by UK producer Depf. Nice neck slapping beat with a catchy repetitive vibraphone motif.
A super nice smooth instrumental production piece from DirtyThree. Silky sax overlaid over a crisp snare snap and occasional dark feel. 'Criminal Jazz' is lifted off the debut LP 'Street Sketches' by DirtyThree.
