Thankful For Everything, the lead single from Funky DL‘s new album “Beautiful Soul” comes in the form of this monster track. Featuring live instrumentation throughout, this pace-driven groove echoes and reflects the distinctive sounds of 1960’s soul, whilst DL and Cicero provide the gratitude filled vocals.
DL approached the production with the intention for guitar flanges, bass to twists and drums to rock solidly, brilliantly capturing a retro, but contemporary sound.
