Fifteen years on from their debut release, Simple Samples return with their new E.P ‘Samplicity‘. This release tells a different tale to the hedonistic days of the duo’s debut, but the all-night parties and daytimes spent lazing on the windowsill where they would pen lyrics and smoke are the blueprint for the music that they create today.
The pair consists of Scrabble and Dweller with Dweller handling both vocal and production duties. The LP features guest verses from ExP, Trumpet from A.Lofthouse, Guitar from R.Rollinson with cuts supplied by D.J Simon C and TMB.
At times dark and brutal but spiked with the pair’s recognizable leftfield humour, this album is a coming of age piece of work from two seasoned M.C’s who exchange bars with the casual ease brought about by twenty years of friendship and making music together.
