Here it is, we finally have the six track Eat The Kiwi Skin EP from East London rapper Isatta Sheriff that has just dropped last Friday.
Isatta has dropped the project alongside lead single For Those Who Love featuring London based singer Mercy’s Cartel which is my favourite from the project and has various nostalgic 90s references.
Speaking on the project Isatta said, “I paint a picture of my journey so far as a Black female rapper, and the racial politics and experiences surrounding that. It follows Laid Back’s relaxed approach to the stage where I am at making music on my own terms and speaking freely“.
Spanning just over twenty minutes, Isatta has recruited Lex Amor, Shumba Youth, Awate, and Mercy’s Cartel.
