“I wrote this song dejected and unemployed, it’s an anthem exploring my Punjabi identity through lyrical flexes, designed to engender a spirit of courage and bravery in the listener. The beat utilises samples and a strong sitar with driving hip hop drums to marry my British-Punjabi identity. A music video has been shot for this record and a.s. Kullar and I have set up radio and magazine interviews to mark the release of this song as well as the EP”.
