Kieron Boothe - Views From The Bottom

Newham rapper Kieron Boothe releases his highly anticipated 6-track project, ‘Views From The Bottom‘ via Cologne-based label, Melting Pot. Produced by Tye Green, Cotton, Nikhil Beats, Harvey Whyte, Srigala, and Morfius on lead single ‘Original Soundman‘ which reinforces why he is leaving his own distinct mark on the UK Rap scene with Kieron’s sound bursting with heart and soul.

Following the success of the first three singles, he continues to thrive whilst making music on his terms with this EP showcasing just how far he has come. Throughout ‘Views From The Bottom’ he has shown his skill and versatility collaborating with six different producers and creating a project that embodies his distinctive Kieron Boothe style.

Speaking on the project Kieron said, “I tried to reveal a bit more of myself with this project. Music has always been like a diary to me and I wanted this project to really capture the current space I’m in but also have some fun too. I think working with so many different producers allowed that to happen naturally and I’m excited to hear people’s thoughts on it because I think some songs will surprise people“.

Growing up immersed in the capital’s rich musical history and culture, both at home and with friends, all Kieron knew was music and art. With family ties to legendary Jamaican reggae artist Ken Boothe, his fascination with music started early and he began writing lyrics at 11 years old.

At 17 he won a competition via a major label which reassured him of his potential and kept him on the route to where he is today. Not one to shy away from collaborations Kieron has worked with the likes of; KeepVibesNear, ebdl, Nikhil Beats and Morgan Lorelle who all compliment his experimental style.

What many might not know is that Kieron’s creative flair doesn’t stop at music, he’s also an applauded illustrator with co-signs from the likes of Idris Elba, KSI and Giggs to name a few.

Graduating in Graphic Design from the University of the Arts London has given Kieron the advantage of being able to produce branding and marketing material for his own releases as well as other artists including Jords, Shae Universe and V9.

Kieron’s days are split between music and drawing with his best work being creating when he lets things flow freely. Kieron emerged on the scene in 2012 and quickly made a name of himself with his honest and relatable lyrics, he has remained true to himself and continued to learn and grow as an artist.

The Silhouettes Project was a turning point for Kieron, his single ‘No Peace‘ has over 3 million streams and led to him performing at the iconic London music venue, Jazz Cafe.

With his own headline show at The Hackney Social in November, Kieron continues to tick things off (and add) things to his bucket list.

Throughout this project Kieron has paired clever wordplay with calming vocals and authentic storytelling abilities, there is clearly excitement surrounding him and this project will undoubtedly have an impact on the UK scene for years to come.
