Eventual Ghosts - Good Looking Corpses

Bard Picasso Records have been as busy as ever this year. With releases packed to the gills of ridiculously good LP’s, EP’s and singles, its no wonder they are gaining traction in all corners of the UK, and even further afield. With a full rebrand coming soon, Bard Picasso have added firepower to their cannon with the addition of seven strong powerhouses “Eventual Ghosts“!

“Eventual Ghosts” or simply “EvG” for short were mysteriously teased earlier this year when they added an Instagram and facebook account with just an image of seven cloaked figures with a logo above and the caption “New group to Bard Picasso Records” followed by a bunch of ghost emojis! I’d just like to state for the record, that the wait was fully worth it.

Debut single “Good Looking Corpses“, a saying popularised by James Dean, is a boom bap beauty. A genuine diamond for any fan of the genre. “No psycopath, but i’ll spinal tap you to take you back, back in the day to play with razor blades and fiberglass“, straight off the bat with the first verse from wordplay maestro and punchline heavy O Davies who spins complex multi syllable rhyme schemes and vivid imagery to set the tone for the rest of the track which doesn’t falter in any of the six verses.

Add all of that with the production skills of Bard Picasso Records producer DJ Risk1 and you have yourself one hell of a ghostly track from the Eventual Ghosts!

Out now on all streaming platforms from Bard Picasso Records, Eventual Ghosts – “Good Looking Corpses”.
