There’s a lot of white folks seem to think the advancement of black people is to their own detriment, so even if not outright racist they encourage the status quo so their comfort is not affected.
In truth racism is a cancer used to distract from the rich versus poor battle that we all face and black excellence is something that should be encouraged.
In ‘Black Excellence‘ Cuban Pete shows out for the ‘regular’ white people who aren’t worried about such things, (there is more of us than you think) and realise we, as the human race, should be helping each other succeed and improve ourselves together as it only makes us stronger.
When the revolution comes some people will realise having the same skin colour does not guarantee being on the same side of the fight.
