The Lords Of The Underground are back. Well known for their early work Funky Child and Chief Rocka they are bouncing back with I Love Hip Hop which is a steamer of a track. A simple and somewhat un-groovesome beat is splattered with samples which all fit together well.

UK-rapper Plan B had some harsh words for Jay-Z's sole Brit signing Lady Sovereign recently. "Lady Sovereign better suits the Americans, because they don't really know what Londoners are like", he told MTV. As well as hooking up with The Arctic Monkeys for their new album, Dizzee Rascal has teamed up with Lily Allen and Joss Stone for his long-awaited new LP Maths & English. Lily sings the hook on the track So You Want To Be A Gangsta and Joss Stone cornered Dizzee at the recent Brit Awards and begged him to let her sing a hook on the album.
The dynamic duo from Portland, OR (a.k.a. Razorblade City) who go by the name of Lifesavas - emcee / producer Jumbo the Garbageman and emcee Vursatyl - couldn’t be any more separate in terms of vocal style, point of view and even appearance, yet what they bring as a collective is timeless.
Straight outta Portland, Lifesavas have emerged with a new album entitled Gutterfly, a kick-ass ensemble of tracks that are both densely rich in production and stylistically beautiful. Gutterfly, the follow-up to the duo’s debut release Spirit in Stone, will hit stores April 24, 2007 on Quannum.
