We would like to reintroduce you to One Be Lo, an emcee from Pontiac MI, who is also known as OneManArmy. And like Rambo, he’s back for more. Formerly one-half of of the brief but brightly burning duo Binary Star, he dropped his solo debut, S.O.N.O.G.R.A.M. on Fat Beats Records in 2005.
It was an underground hit and moved over 20,000 units, riding on the back of his years of touring, as well as the success of his S.T.I.L.L.B.O.R.N. mixtape.
The follow-up, fittingly called The R.E.B.I.R.T.H., is set to drop early this year. His work ethic is inspiring- besides dropping a ton of new material in the last couple years, in his off-time he gives workshops and lectures, and speaks at schools.
