New Guardz member Ray Vendetta and North London's Tesla's Ghost hook up to unofficially reform The Odd Couple. They have headed over to the Boom Bap Professionals for a double headed release. Who Are They is produced by Remulak and on the physical release is backed by Pariah.

Boom Bap Professionals are back with a banger. Oxford based Nemrot produces with a crusty piano sample and plenty of wow and flutter plus distortion for that old school feel and a crisp drum set to boot. Deeq (of Pierce Artists) lays down the knowledge ably bar by bar.

BBP have just dropped the debut single and associated video for 'Valhalla Rhyming', track put together by Habitat and DJ Severe. The track is taken from the forthcoming album 'Empire Building' which is due to drop on June 12th. This is a heavy-hitting, boom bap banger from the Heavy Links MC! The single features a remix from Remulak and bonus non-album cut 'Darkseid'.

RPM is the third single taken from the critically acclaimed LP 'Life Moves' and features fellow Punning Clan member Tony Skank and songstress Melody Myla and is backed with the bonus track 'Take Off' and the instrumental of RPM. Its a nice package and whilst RPM has a couple of cliched elements its production is never the less comprised of heavy bumping production with a groaning bassline from Able8 for Uncomfortable Beats accompanied with summery vibed vocals of Melody Myla.

Boom Bap Professionals present 'Eventually', the 2nd single from the Benny Diction and Able8 album 'Life Moves' (BBP20). Over Able's uplifting, multi-layered production, Benny details the hard work and dedication that go into pursuing your passions, which many will be able to relate to no matter your chosen field: "He keeps traipsing on this expedition / Though his feet are aching from the endless missions".

During 2012's Boom Bap Festival Oliver Sudden and Luca Brazi were sat in front of the Graffiti wall with a crate of beer discussing a few ideas while watching the 645 Squad paint a burner. After collaborations on previous Granville Sessions material and discussions about each others production, they decided to pair up and go fifty fifty on beats and rhymes on an EP. Shortly after the festival season recovery period the Wednesday studio sessions kicked off. Beats were exchanged, verses were penned, beers were necked... and so on.

'Life Moves' is the brainchild of prominent London-based MC Benny Diction and prolific Australian beats producer Able8. The two met at a Melbourne hip-hop night in 2011 and have been working together since. Both established artists in their own right, they have combined to turn hip-hop on its head and create something that stands out from the usual format. Able8's signature sound combines the world of dusty vinyl samples with heavy bass-laden electronic sounds and swinging drums, providing the perfect backdrop for Benny to paint his intricate, tightly-woven rhymes. The result is an exciting mix of classic hip-hop with a futuristic, off-kilter sound.

Finally its here, the long awaited new single from Hip Hop duo Prose, released 11th October 2010 on their Boom Bap Professionals label. Life Times is the lead single taken from the forthcoming debut LP Force Of Habit, and it encapsulates everything producer Steady and emcee Efeks have endured and experienced throughout their seven year partnership.
