Lowkey and Quincey Tones team up again for the anthemic Tell Me Why. Addressing everything from 9/11 and Myspace to YouTube, Rupert Murdoch and Big Brother; Lowkey tears a hole in the infectiously catchy production making for one of the best Hip Hop tracks of 09 so far.

A cold British day, the streets of London, alive with 100,000 people. Their necks warmed by the black and white Arab scarves, their fists waving a green, red and black flag, banners and cardboard held high. Every faith, every colour, every age... And the words, echoing through the streets, 'Long Live Palestine, Long Live Gaza'.

"I see a genocide right before my eyes - it's the holocaust of today". Remember when you used to listen to a hip hop track... and then listen again and again and again? Just to get a whole new take on the lines? Seems as though the majority of those carrying such a challenged these day are the rappers who are poets, or poets who are rappers. Because when they don't recognise rap is poetry, they don't honour the language with eloquence.

Yaeo of MohawkGangEntertainment has dropped the 2009 remix of Busta's smash 'Arab Money'. Yaeo plays with the original concept of the track exchanging arab money with 'Giro Money' which instantaneously gives the song a British identity whilst also adding an element of comedy to this already character filled track.

KI, Ronin, Wukong, Phoenix... whatever you call him; the Finsbury Park, North London poetic rapper is a most intriguing step out of an only well too known scene. One of the founding members of Itzblitz recordings and the C.E.O of Norf Key Productions, KI is a man with a mindset which is grounded in his North London pride, but stretching out for much more.

Here we have a sweet collaboration for you from both sides of the Atlantic. It’s a worldwide collabo featuring lyrics by Yung C aka Ceezy who is from Amsterdam. The bouncy club beat is by DJ Denox who is from Montreal. Check the link below to hear it.

16's Slaughter is made up of 16 verses only. And he makes the most of them, considering each track displays a different spitting style. ‘Bandana On The Right Side’ reminds me of the theory that although Britain ‘stole’ America’s old school hip hop. New school hip hop has stolen the raw British soul. And in this track, A Dot has stolen it back.

In My Lifetime is the first official single off Lowkey's new LP Dear Listener and features Wretch 32 of The Movement.
