Ty has a new label (BBE) and a new LP Special Kind Of Fool which is Ty's fourth LP. His launch party is happening on Bank Holiday Monday at the Jazz Cafe in Camden, London. Its a special event with a full live band - Robin Mullarkey, Simon Collam, Richard Spaven, Vula Malinga and Sharlene Hector.

When word hit the street that Hip Hop production royalty Just Blaze and The Alchemist were not only coming to the UK, but also were actually preparing to go head to head, the scramble for tickets and interviews was on.

In a week filled with both celebration and remembrance, the UK hip hop fraternity came out in force to pay homage to the life and work of a man described as a true ‘hip hop genius’.

This guy wasn’t asked to compile and mix the ‘Kings of Hip Hop’ LP with DJ Premier for no reason.

Currently one of the hardest working DJs and promoters the Spin Doctor has produced a fantastic mix to celebrate 4 years of his night the Doctors Orders. Bombay Monkey’s new album ‘130 Astronauts’ is the third in a “trilogy of four parts” following ‘Vanish’ (2005) and ‘Time Travellers’ (2006). Although ‘130 Astronauts’ is themed around space, the album title is actually derived from the number of space cadets that used to drop by at 130 St Johns Road in Tunbridge Wells, where Bombay Monkey first started making tracks together.

Bacardi B-Live in association with Electricity are bringing a hot bed of contemporary music that will alight the clubbing masses of Birmingham this month. The Custard Factory, one of the Midlands’ legendary clubs will see Australian drum and bass legends Pendulum on the B-Live decks alongside some of the world’s hottest DJs for 10 hours of musical mish-mash break beat bliss.

This time we have some exciting news on Zebra Traffic releases. Zebra Traffic are set to unleash three new incredible releases this year and although they are barely out of manufacturing stage we could hardly contain our excitement and just had to let the world know of the greatness to come this year.
