Bear With Me 2: Bear Sophisticated is the second instalment of T.Bear's, aka TB Tuberculosis', #BWM mixtape series. The release showcases the influence Tupac Amaru Shakur had on a worldwide generation of artists. Unwilling to copy or add to the many run of the mill versions of the late, great, Tupac's music, T.Bear has reworked and revisited the essence of originality and honesty in his favourite Tupac songs and re-expressed themes and feelings relevant to himself and the modern economical and societal conditions that affect those that dwell in the inner-city.

Even from a young age, the legacy of Triple Darkness lyricist Iron Braydz seemed almost written in the stars. Finding entertainment in the Harlesden playgrounds reciting Kriss Kross' 'Jump', he quickly built a reputation for rhyming, regularly reciting Wu-Tang Clan lyrics in what he called "who knows Wu" lyric battles as a child.

Triple Darkness and Orphans of Cush member, and frequent supplier of perpetual rawness Cyrus Malachi, made a return recently with a follow-up to his popular 2011 album Ancient Future. Featuring production from the likes of Hey Zeus, Starvirius, Hellz Echo, and Noize Theivery, with expert mastering from Chemo, Black Athena would appear to have the foundations needed to make a classic album.

The Doctor's Orders have always done their part for the home team and tonight they go all out with an incredible line up of UK talent performing both live and DJ sets. From the high plains drifter himself Jehst to bonafied legend Rodney P and Skitz through seasoned performers Stig of The Dump, Micall Parknsun and Cappo to the new school of hungry acts like Iron Braydz, Skillit and Rewd Adams this line up will have all fans of the UK's burgeoning talent excited like a kid on Christmas Eve.

Linked this a couple of days ago over on the Youtube channel, but as I thought about it more I had to give it more exposue here. This is pure fire as Braydz spits some seriously fast and hard to deliver lyrics in such a ferocious manner it is hard to deny the all consuming intensity of this performance. No moving pictures are available for this, but the audio is powerful enough.

The Doctor's Orders, The Big Chill House and Dephect are over the moon to announce the very first New Year's Eve party in London by "the kings of the capital's Hip-Hop scene" (Time Out).

New York's Double A.B. spent some time living in north London's Tottenham. As the news of the much publicized London riots of August 2011 spread globally, Double A.B. wrote the track London Calling reflecting on what he could see happening in his old neighbourhood. He got together with his old associate and fellow New Yorker Dub Sonata who produced the Clash sampled beat and then approached the UK's highly rated MC Iron Braydz to feature.

We have been informed that due to unforseen circumstances Onyx show scheduled for tomorrow 4th August has had to be postponed. No reason given, but I guess the use of the term postponed suggests that the gig may be re-arranged sometime in the future. Was looking forward to getting rowdy so its a pity this has not come off, but these things happen.

Ohio's Copywrite drops this banger PYT with the UK's Loudmouth Melvin and Skillit as a pre-cursor to his new album God Save The King, due out late autumn on Man Bites Dog Records. The track produced by Kount Fif also features Jay Notes.

The original bad boys of Def Jam, Fredro Starr and Sticky Fingaz are comin to the UK for a massive gig in August. This should be an event not to miss with a catalogue of rowdy hits from as far back as 1993's Bacdafucup LP which included Slam which should get the whole audience bouncing. Djembe Entertainment have also put some great acts on the support bill so be sure to reach Fabric on the 4th August.
